Lafayette Seminar meets at Zea's - 235 Doucet Rd, Lafayette. The seminar lasts from 3 pm to 5 pm. However, registration starts at 2:45 pm and there will be a happy hour following the seminar.
For members registration is $40 and $50 for non-members.

3:00 - 4:00pm Combating the Reptile: This presentation provides practical tips for combating the reptile approach, preventing, or containing jurors’ fear and anger, and mitigating damages.
Elizabeth Foreman, Ph.D. Jury Consultant, Magna Legal Service (Dr. Foreman obtained a bachelor’s degree from Southeastern Louisiana University, where she studied psychology and criminal justice. She then earned master’s and doctorate degrees in experimental psychology from the University of Mississippi)
4:00 - 5:00pm Torts and Procedure: Developments and Practice Pointers
Judge Guy Holdridge, Louisiana First Circuit Court of Appeal and Prof. Bill Corbett, LSU Law Center
5:00 – 6:00 pm Social Hour with light bites, wine/beer
