Course Title: Effective use of Biomechanics and Accident Reconstruction in Trucking Litigation

Course Description Attendees will gain actionable insights on using vehicle data and developing science-backed causation arguments that resonate with judges and juries. The panel will address the importance of securing and obtaining the data and information necessary to assess forces on the human body, injury mechanisms, and reconstruction of an accident. The panelists will explore the varying types of useful data that can be obtained, analysis of that data, and how to utilize it to assess injury mechanisms and how a given accident occurred. The discussion will also address key challenges such as timing issues, vehicle-specific limitations, and data access obstacles – along with how best to overcome these challenges.
