Young Lawyers' Boot Camp

Learn advocacy from some of Louisiana's best lawyers, judges, and professors during two days of intensive “learn-by-doing” training at the LADC Young Lawyers' Boot Camp. Participants will learn to direct and cross-examine fact and expert witnesses, and make powerful and persuasive arguments at trial and pretrial proceedings. Performances are digitally recorded and critiqued by our faculty of experienced instructors. Lectures complement participant performances.

LIMITED ENROLLMENT

Enrollment is strictly limited to the first 48 applicants. Lawyers with 0 to 15 years experience benefit most from this program.

ELIGIBLE TO ATTEND

Members of the LADC and other members of the bar interested in improving their advocacy skills.

REGISTRATION FEE

Program registration fee is $500.00 (includes daily lunches, coffee, and welcoming cocktail party) for members and $600 for non-members. No refunds will be issued unless cancellation is received at least thirty (30) days prior to seminar. Tuition must be paid before you can receive handout materials. Multiple attorneys from the same firm qualify for a $25 discount. All non-members will receive a complimentary LADC membership for a year.

CLE CREDITS

14 hours of Louisiana MCLE credit will be issued for attendance (including one hour of legal ethics and professionalism).
 

A full refund will be given up to a month before the event. A 50% refund will be given up to the week before the event. Refunds will not be given a week from the event.
