How Human Factors Can Complement Engineering in Civil Litigation: Principles and Case Studies

July 14, 2021

Sponsored by Exponent

Literature suggests that human behaviors contribute to the majority of accidents. For this reason and others, human factors is a growing scientific field that addresses how people interact with equipment, products, environments, work controls, other people, and more. In this session, our experts will discuss how expertise in human factors can complement engineering expertise in a variety of civil litigation cases. They will also present relatable first principles from their respective fields and use case studies to illustrate how those principles fit together for an informative, useful, and engaging discussion.
